Audrey has been cruising along the furniture for several weeks now, but she is too scared to let go of the furniture and stand on her own, let alone take any steps. I have been saying that I know she is strong enough to walk, but she just does not have the confidence yet. Yesterday, though, she was standing on her own out of the blue! In the morning she took two steps and by the evening she was taking SIX steps! I cannot believe that she went from nothing to (sort of) walking in one day.
I am not calling her a walker yet because to get her to take steps she has to be bribed by forbidden toys. It's not like she's just letting go to walk around the room! BUT I know that the day is coming sooner than we expected. We thought that she would not be walking until after her first birthday. We'll see though, but what an exciting time.
