Oooh...I'm IT!

My friend Katie tagged me to do something fun!

The rules for this book meme are as follows:

1. Pick up the nearest book (not the coolest one, the one NEAREST you).
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag five people.

So the book that is closest to me is (so embarrassing) Nora Roberts' The Gift.

So, here we go. Turning to page 123...okay I'm there...let's see...5th sentence...I'm sightly confused...

5th sentence: "If he hadn't missed just one word, he'd told her, he'd have gotten a gold star."

Next three sentences: "Nor had she missed the shy looks Zack sent her, or the quick smiles before he flushed and lowered his eyes. It was very sweet to be responsible for his first case of puppy love. She sighed with pleasure as the car burst out from under the canopy of trees and into the light."

As you can probably tell, this is not the most well written piece of literature. It was a quick read, but I would not recommend that you run out and read it. It's not really worth the time.
