She's Reading...

...and it just melts my heart. I love emergent readers. :)

I did not get it on video, but it was sooo sweet and impressive! You know she's really not reading the words, but she's "reading" the pictures. Reading pictures is such an important step in learning to read and comprehend.



This is the book she likes to read. The text says, "Blue hat, green hat, red hat, oops." (And it goes through shoes, shirts, shorts, and other clothing.) The turkey in the book is wearing the clothes the wrong way, and the text always says, "oops" under the turkey.

She read the entire book. :)
